More Monoprinting Kits !

Thanks to everyone who has purchased one of the new monoprinting kits, I have been overwhelmed by the response to the idea. The initial 20 kits sold within a day of going on the website which was unexpected but very much appreciated. I have added another 20 kits to the shop and once I have replenished the stocks these will be ready to dispatch. I am creating a monoprinting page on the website which is full of content that is only available to purchasers of these kits (a code number is sent with the kits that you use to access the page)

Monoprinting Kits

I have put together these starter kits so that you will be able to begin trying out the techniques shown in my demo videos. I am often asked about paint, paper and which kind of plastic that I use so thought it would be a good idea to put everything together and include a few projects to help get you started. I will make a video available on my YouTube channel which will guide you through the first of the four projects. I'm developing a page of exclusive content for the website which will only be made available to purchasers of the kits, this will include full instructions for all the projects with step by step photos.

Britain's Rubbish 2019

And so it begins ! The first contributor for the Britain's Rubbish art project has arrived and I'm beginning to experiment with ideas for the project. I like the idea of creating a patchwork of monoprints which will continue to grow as each new monoprint is added to the artwork. Looking forward to watching as it develops.

I’ve designed these information leaflets for the project. I will be filming an instructional video later. The video will be posted on YouTube and on the website.

Monoprinting kits available soon

I've been working on the finished kits that will be available soon. Each kit will contain all the materials that you will need to begin experimenting with some of the techniques shown in my demo videos. Included : oil paint, 200gsm card, stencil sheets, 3 different grades of plastic transfer sheets, pallet knife, marker pen, blender tool and 4 monoprint projects to get you started. The first 20 kits will also contain a small original charcoal sketch.

New project update

The Britain's Rubbish project is going really well and some of the plastic waste I collected in just 20 minutes a couple of days ago will soon be despatched to all parts of the world including Australia, USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and many parts of the UK. Thanks to all those who have expressed an interest in this project.

I often get asked about all the different materials that I use in some of my YouTube demos so I've decided to put together these monoprinting kits with everything you need to begin experimenting with the techniques, they will include oil paint, card/paper, pallet knife, blender tool, transfer sheets, stencil sheets, marker pens, all instructions and a few simple projects to get started. I'm trying to keep the costs low and will include environmentally friendly products such as bamboo cotton buds. Will update with more info. For obvious reasons the only item I will not be including is a sharp craft knife.

Work in progress

I'm working on this large scale project at the moment, just applying the base coat of acrylic paint, the work is on stretched cotton triple primed with gesso and is 47” × 40”.
